Overall rankings are calculated as a simple unweighted average of index scores across all seven trades. Individual trade scores use min-max normalisation within each trade so scores reflect performance relative to other regions for that trade only. A region scoring consistently across all trades will rank higher than one that scores very high in one trade but poorly in others.
